在法律英文中，save与except（for）相同的介词，可汉译为“除……外” 、“除非……，否则”。不管是save 还是 except (for) 之后都可跟一个名词性短语，也可以跟一个从句或另一个介词短语。

此外，save/except as (is) provided / stipulated 可以用另一个法律常用句式取代：unless otherwise provided / stipulated，功能与其相同，可以是一个标准的替代。

Save as aforesaid, words or expressions contained in this attachment shall, bear the same meanings as in the agreement.
